As a family owned company Milano started in 1957 with a desire to provide the Middle Eastern market high quality, hand crafted furniture with a European flare.

Mr. Hosseini Sr. started the first high end furniture manufacturing and distribution chain within Iran over sixty years ago. Revered as the pioneer in the furniture industry Mr. Hosseini expanded his brand and concept from one store and a dream to over 20 stores throughout the Middle East, including its own manufacturing factory, which has grown to be the largest manufacturing facility of furniture within Iran.

With the help of his son’s in 1995 Milano expanded into the Asian market initially to import and export furniture but due to the huge market potential Milano opened its own distribution office in 2005 which lead to its manufacturing factory in 2007 with distribution channels specifically tailored to the Asian consumer and export of the crafted furniture into the Middle Eastern market.

It is in 2002 that Milano started building beneficial and lasting partnerships with numerous European brands especially within the Italian and German market, in order to develop its own product knowledge but to also add onto its product offering, with international brands

As that wasn’t enough Milano grew into the North American market by acquiring Windbank a Canadian Company with over 25 years of experience in custom millwork and cabinetry. It is with this experience that the family business originally started as a furniture manufacturing company and has since then expanded into several other strategic business units such as Construction SBU with a prime focus on luxury homes and complexes and the Hospitality SBU with successful cafés and restaurants.

The new generation of the Hosseini family is insatiable in its everlasting desire to find new projects, venues and opportunities to expand the Milano family company and brand!
